Unmet Needs of Youth in the Mackay Region
RSDC is conducting an anonymous survey of service providers in the Mackay Region (Mackay, Sarina, Pioneer Valley) who provide services to young people aged 12-25 years. The aim of the project is to identify any unmet needs (gaps in service delivery) and barriers to service delivery to young people. Attached is a letter explaining the project in greater detail. It would be greatly appreciated if the Program Coordinator or a senior worker from each program within your organisation could complete the survey.
It would also be greatly appreciated if you could circulate the survey link below throughout your network to ensure as many service providers as possible complete the survey, although I apologise if you receive the link several times. I will send out several email reminders to complete the survey prior to the closing date of 5pm Friday, 19th April 2019. It is estimated that the survey will take approximately 10mins to complete.
If your organisation would like to partner with RSDC and permit the Youth Project Research Officer to have a conversation with some of the young people your organisation works with about their experiences in accessing services in the region, please contact Kelly directly to discuss completing a Memorandum of Understanding between your organisation and RSDC. If you have any general questions about the survey, please don’t hesitate to contact Kelly.
Many thanks for your support in helping RSDC identify the unmet needs of youth in the Mackay Region.
