Isaac Project | Resilience Maturity

Can your organisation survive and thrive following a disaster?

It takes much less time and fewer resources to be prepared than it does to try and recover if you haven’t first put mitigation strategies in place.

The Community Services Disaster Resilience Maturity Scorecard and Playbook are research-backed and contain actions you can follow that have been tried and tested in real-world situations by your peers across the Community Services Industry. This online self-assessment tool has been designed for boards and senior management to use as you develop a clear understanding of your resilience position and how to accelerate your resilience development.

Greater Whitsunday Communities has been working with CSIA over the past 18-months on the now publicly available FREE, easy-to-use, and secure Community Services Disaster Resilience Maturity Scorecard and Playbook.   We are now supporting community organisations across the Isaac Region to complete their Scorecard and utilize the resources in the Playbook. Organisations such as ELAM, Hinterland Community Care and Broadsound Community Care have all completed their scorecard and are now exploring ways to enhance their resilience maturity through the playbook.

There are many ways to use these resources but having the conversation about your organisation’s level of resilience maturity and thinking about what steps you can take to build on that, is the first crucial step.

Continuing that conversation all year, every year, is just as crucial. Accelerate your resilience maturity with the Community Services Disaster Resilience Maturity Scorecard and Playbook.
